Our K–8 After-School Program provides a consistent, structured environment where students can learn, build relationships, and grow during the hours they need it most.
What Students Experience
Serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade, our after-school program runs Monday-Thursday, creating the consistency students need to succeed.
Each day includes a balance of:
Homework help and academic support
Structured activities and enrichment
Physical activity and recreation
Mentorship and relationship-building
This program was created in response to a real need in East Akron, providing a safe, supportive environment during after-school hours so students can stay engaged and continue growing beyond the classroom.
Rooted in long-term relationships, we walk alongside students year after year, helping them build confidence, develop social-emotional skills, and take ownership of their future.
Filling a Critical Gap
For many families, after-school hours present a real challenge.
Without access to safe, structured environments, students are left without the support they need during the most crucial hours of the day.
Our program exists to meet that need, providing a space where students are supported, challenged, and known.

Registration for fall after-school programming is currently closed. We will reopen sign-ups this fall.
When is it?
Monday-Thursday from 3pm-6pm
Where is it?
838 E Exchange St, Akron, OH 44306.
MasonCLCStudents: Staff from The Vincent House will meet students at Mason CLC and drive/walk students to The Vincent House (weather dependent).
East CLC Students: Staff from The Vincent House will meet students at East CLC and transport them to The Vincent House.
All students must be picked up from The Vincent House. We will not be able to provide transportation home.
Please Note:
📝 A $20 deposit per child is required to hold your spot and begin the paperwork process. This deposit will be refunded once all required documents are completed and submitted.
