Building a village where every child can thrive
The Vincent House exists to walk alongside youth and families in Middlebury—building consistent relationships, creating meaningful opportunities, and fostering a community where kids can grow into who they were made to be.
our mission
We invest in youth and families by fostering trusted, ongoing relationships and mentorship—creating a village where children, families, and community members actively support one another.
Through consistent engagement and a network of caring adults, we strengthen family resilience, nurture youth development, and build a neighborhood where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
our vision
The Vincent House exists to build a thriving neighborhood by walking alongside youth from kindergarten through graduation—reimaginging play, empowering youth leaders, and supporting families.
What makes this work different
The Vincent House is not a one-time program or short-term solution.
We walk alongside youth from kindergarten through graduation, building relationships that last and support that evolves as their needs change.
Everything we do is rooted in consistency, trust, and proximity to the community we serve.
Reimagining Play
Creating equitable access to quality extracurriculars, giving kids choice in building their unique identity, and challenging youth to grow in teamwork and physical health.
supporting families
Encouraging the consistent participation in structured recreational activities and free play as necessary to the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development of children.
empowering youth leaders
Providing consistent, long-term mentorship to youth throughout their K-12 years, supporting their growth in social-emotional regulation, leadership skills, and personal development.
